The nappy-clad 20-foot likeness was launched in Buenos Aires on Thursday, where world leaders will gather for two days.
Massive anti-summit protests were expected on Friday, with more than 22,000 police set to tackle rallies from more than 100 left-leaning groups.
A spokesman for Trump Baby UK confirmed that the blimp was the same one which had been launched in London, and was shipped to Buenos Aires ahead of the summit.
He said: “It’s the same blimp which we’ve shipped out – the crowdfunder raised an unexpectedly large amount of money in June, so we’re using that to send it around the world.
“People in Buenos Aires got in touch and said they’d like to have it over there, so we sent it out there.
“In terms of where it’ll go next, we’re going to wait and see what happens and who requests it.
“We’re going to meet tonight and see where it’ll go next and how many places we can afford for it to go.
“It’s had a really positive reaction over in Argentina and it’s had some media attention from there and in the US too.”
The blimp was created for Mr Trump’s visit to London in June and launched above Parliament Square Gardens.
It also visited Paris in November as part of protests against Mr Trump’s visit there to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.
