High On Life members Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper had millions of followers online where they posted videos and pictures of their travel adventures.
The trio – all aged in their twenties and thirties – were swimming in a pool at the top of Shannon Falls in British Columbia
Police said they were “then walking along the ledge shortly thereafter” when it is believed they slipped and fell.
Officer Sascha Banks said they fell nearly 100 feet and search and rescue teams have recovered the bodies.
A fundraising page has been set up in memory of the three by other members of the collective, who described them as “dear friends”.
It said: “On July 3rd, 2018 we lost three very dear friends of ours; Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh, and Megan Scraper.
“There are truly no words that can be said to ease the pain and the devastation that their families are all going through right now.
“In support of all their loved ones, we have created a GoFundMe for any arrangements that they may need help with.
“The family would love to hear anything or everything on how High On Life may have inspired you. A story, a picture, a song, a video - use the Hashtag #HOLinspired so we can collect all of your love and thoughts in one place.”
Mr Gamble and Mr Lyakh, both Canadian, formed High On Life with a third friend when they went travelling in 2012 – which then became their full-time job and the YouTube channel went on to acquire more than 500,000 subscribers.
