Kim Kardashian has arrived at the White House for a meeting with Donald Trump’s senior adviser.
Kardashian was pictured entering the West Wing ahead of talks about criminal justice reform with the US President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner on Wednesday.
She had urged Mr Trump to pardon Alice Marie Johnson, 63, who is serving a life sentence without parole for committing a non-violent drug offence.
Attorney Brittany K. Barnett, part of Johnson's legal team, said Kardashian also hopes to meet with President Trump to discuss the case.
In an interview with Mic, Kardashian said she'd been moved by the story surrounding Johnson, a great grandmother, after seeing a video by the news outlet.
"I think that she really deserves a second chance at life," she said. "I'll do whatever it takes to get her out."
It comes after Kardashian’s husband rapper Kanye West sparked a social media maelstrom earlier this month by declaring his support for Mr Trump.
Kardashian also forced him to backtrack on a string of Twitter posts after the Gold Digger rapper said he considered the US leader a "brother".
West tweeted to his more than 18 million followers: "You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy.”
"He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought."
