North Korea has released a propaganda video depicting attacks on a United States aircrafts and warships.
The bizarre clip was released by the DPRK Today news as the communist country ramps up its threat against the US.
It shows a series of missiles being fired at American targets, including a F-35 Raptor fighter and the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, which are destroyed by computer-generated explosions.
It also shows a still of Donald Trump addressing his troops alongside the words: “Madman Trump in the 70th anniversary of the US Air Force babbled that if there will be an attack on the north the F-35 will lead the way.”
Military analysts say North Korea doesn’t have the capability or intent to attack US bombers and fighter jets but that message isn’t relayed in the video, which appears to be the country's way of showing that they have a wide range of options against the US.
It comes amid rising tension between the two nations after North Korea claimed that Donald Trump’s tweet stating that Kim Jong Un “won’t be around much longer” was a declaration of war.
The White House was forced to issue a bizarre statement on Monday denying North Korea's claim.
White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the US had not "declared war" on Pyongyang.
The Trump administration also clarified that it was not seeking to overthrow North Korea's government after President Trump tweeted that its leader Kim Jong Un "won't be around much longer".
