More than a dozen people have become trapped on a ride at a SeaWorld park in the US.

Riders of the “Bayside Skyride” were left stranded in gondolas suspended above water on Monday night.

Fire crews were still working to rescue the passengers on the ride in the San Diego theme park this morning.

Authorities said that between 15 and 30 people were trapped.

San Diego police told FOX5 News around six gondolas stopped functioning after a gust of wind tripped a circuit breaker.
