Adult film actress Amber Rayne has been found dead at her home aged 31.
Rayne, one of several porn actresses to recently accuse star James Deen of assaulting her during a scene, is said to have collapsed at her home in Los Angeles on Saturday.
A post mortem to discover the cause of death has not yet been completed but officials told the Guardian it appeared she died after an accident or overdose.
Colleagues paid tribute to the star as news broke of her death.
One posted on Twitter: “Our hearts are broken. Our friend Amber Rayne passed away. She was one of the sweetest people our industry & the world has ever seen.”
Last year Rayne, who was born Meghan Ren, became embroiled in a row after she accused Deen of raping her during filming.
Deen has consistently denied the allegations.
