A British university student was seriously injured when he plunged from a balcony while attending a sports festival in Spain.
The 21-year-old was taken to hospital at about 2am yesterday after the fall from the third floor of a building in Salou on the Costa Dorada. He is understood to have suffered multiple injuries. Police are investigating.
The unnamed man was among more than 4,000 undergraduates from universities around the UK enjoying the second week of the annual Saloufest event.
