Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal swapped court shoes for Wellington boots as helped with a major clean-up operation following fatal floods in his native Majorca.
The 32-year-old, ranked the number one men’s singles player in the world, was seen assisting teams tackling the devastation in Spain.
“Sad day in Majorca. My heartfelt condolences to the relatives of the deceased and injured by the serious floods,” he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
The ace was seen with a broom as he swept thick mud away which had coated streets and homes in the area.
As well as providing his assistance with the clean-up, he offered shelter at his academy in Manacor, a city on the island, to those in need.
After sharing his message on Twitter, many praised the 17 time Grand Slam winner.

Some thanked him for his assistance and shared condolences to those affected.
One wrote: “So awesome Rafa to offer your facility to those victims. Prayers for all.”
Another called him a “true champion”, while he was also branded a "legend".
At least 10 people, including two Brits, have died after torrential rain deluged the region and sparked flash flooding, according to authorities.
A search continues for a five-year-old boy who has been missing since disaster struck on Tuesday.
The main area affected was around the town of Sant Llorenc, about 40 miles east of the capital, Palma.
Among the fatalities is a British couple, named locally as Anthony Green, 77, and Delia Green, 75.
