Deadly shooting at Chicago hospital

Four people are dead after a gunman opened fire at a hospital in Chicago.

Two members of staff and the shooter himself were among those confirmed dead after the violence unfolded yesterday evening.

Officials said the gunman appeared to target a woman he was in a relationship with.

Of the deadly shooting, Chicago’s mayor said: "This tears at the soul of our city. It is the face and the consequence of evil.”

DUP’s Brexit warning to PM

Theresa May’s DUP allies have warned her to “keep her side of the bargain” on Brexit.

The warning came as the party’s MPs withheld support on votes for the Prime Minister’s budget measures.

The move sent a “political message” to Mrs May, Brexit spokesman Sammy Wilson said.

It called into question the future of the "confidence" arrangement by which the DUP props up Mrs May's minority Government.

Panic as Ryanair website crashes

Ryanair customers trying to check in online were left frustrated last night when the budget airline’s website crashed.

Those trying to log in were met with a page that informed them the site was “down for maintenance.”

The airline confirmed that there was a server issue however the website is now back up and running normally.

White House backs down in press pass row

The White House has backed down from its battle with CNN and its correspondent Jim Acosta by restoring the journalist’s press pass.

This comes just days after the US administration was ordered to reinstate the senior reporter’s pass with immediate effect.

The decision also reverses a letter by the White House on Friday that said Mr Acosta's press pass could be revoked again.

Meghan dazzles at first Royal Variety outing

Pregnant Meghan Markle dazzled her fans as she arrived for her first ever outing at the Royal Variety Performance last night.

She joined Prince Harry as they braved miserable weather to speak with well-wishers outside London's Palladium theatre.

Expectant mother Meghan also met veteran boyband Take That and Britain’s Got Talent winner Lost Voice Guy at the star-studded event.
