Three boys have been charged with murder - before their alleged victim actually died.

Two 14-year-olds and a 16-year-old will appear in court later today accused of the murder of Rashid Naeem, Scotland Yard said.

Mr Naeem, 29, of Clements Road, East Ham, east London, was stabbed two days ago at Queen's Market in Upton Park, east London.

The youngsters were charged with his murder this morning, before Mr Naeem actually died.

At the time a Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "H is injuries will prove fatal and consequently the three youths have been accused of murder."

The force later issued a statement saying: " Mr Naeem was pronounced dead this morning at Royal London Hospital. A post-mortem examination will be conducted in due course."
