Hull cruised to a 62-6 victory over North Wales Crusaders in the Tetley's Challenge Cup fourth round thanks to hat-tricks from full-back Jamie Shaul and centre Kirk Yeaman at the KC Stadium.

Hull dominated the Championship One side to amass 36 unanswered second-half points to ease into the next round, as Richard Horne weighed in with a brace of tries and Joe Westerman, Ben Crooks, Tom Lineham and James Cunningham also crossed the whitewash - Westerman, Crooks and Aaron Heremaia added the extras.

Crusaders' only try came courtesy of Christiaan Roets, with the score converted by Tommy Johnson.

Sharp-witted stand-off Thomas Bosc showed his French international pedigree as Catalan's 12 men coasted into the fifth round with a 50-12 victory over Hunslet Hawks.

Bosc scored a try, had an important hand in four others and kicked seven goals while his half-back partner William Barthau scored a hat-trick. Ian Henderson, a late replacement for Julian Bousquet, was sent off by referee George Stokes for a high and late challenge on Hunslet scrum half Luke Helliwell in the 27th minute but the Dragons were already 20-0 up at that stage.

Centre Jean-Philippe Baile crossed over for a brace and Damien Blanch, Zeb Taia and Eloi Pelissier got a try apiece for Catalan, while Andy Yates and Danny Grimshaw claimed second-half scores for the home side as David March and Helliwell added the extras.
