The oldest toy shop in the world kicked off the festive season today by unveiling its hotly anticipated Christmas window display.

Described by the Hamleys team as "something to remember", the Yuletide scene is sure to be a hit with children as they gather around the iconic Regent Street store

Created in partnership with plush toy retailer TY and Aladdin The Musical, the shop windows each take on different scenes that mirror the holiday season in the capital, including a snowy Christmas market and a festive fairground.

Each scene features adorable stuffed animals in every corner, perfectly capturing the magic of the Christmas period.

The cast of hit West End musical Aladdin, which is currently being shown at the Prince Edward Theatre, was invited to the unveiling to perform some of the show’s biggest hits, including 'A Whole New World', as well as festive classics like 'Merry Christmas Everyone'.

Grant Yuill, Group Senior Marketing Manager at Hamleys, said: As the finest and oldest toyshop in the world, we have visitors travelling from all corners of the globe to see our legendary Christmas windows, and this year, in collaboration with TY and Aladdin The Musical, we have delivered a magical moment our young visitors will love and remember for years to come.”
