The husband of conjoined twin Abby Hensel was served with a paternity suit nearly two years after he married the star, according to court documents.

Twins Abby and Brittany Hensel are America's most famous conjoined twins after appearing in their own reality show on the network TLC.

Bowling, 34, was previously married to Annica Bowling, 33, for 9 years before the separation in 2019.

Two years after Joshua and Abby’s wedding, Annica filed a paternity suit in a Minnesota court in October 2023, according to documents obtained by The New York Post.

The paper reported the case could involve Annica’s third child, who is three and born in 2020, but said it was unclear from court documents.

The most recent development in the case came on March 7, 2024, when a “genetic test report” was entered into the court file, the paper reported.

Born in 1990, Abby and Brittany have two heads, two hearts and two sets of lungs, but share everything else.

Each twin controls her half of the body, meaning the twins can drive, and they have both graduated from university with education degrees.

The girls are dicephalic parapagus, meaning they are fused side-by-side with two heads.

They were born with a partly-formed third arm which was removed when they were 12 and had surgery to correct spine curvature and help their breathing.

After revealing Joshua’s 2021 wedding to Abby last week, the pair have said they were attacked online.

In response, they released a video initially showing historic models depicting two headed figures.

“The internet is extra LOUD today,” the message read in a TikTok video.

“We have always been around.”

A second video showed a snap from the wedding. A voiceover said: “This is for all you haters out there.

“If you don’t like what I do but watch everything I’m doing — you’re still a fan.”
