Amy Childs to appear on Strictly Come Dancing

Amy Childs is being lined up to appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The 'Only Way Is Essex' beauty - who was one of the stand-out stars of the first two series of the ITV2 show - is reportedly hot favourite among 'Strictly' bosses to appear on the celebrity dancing competition when it returns to screens later in the year.

However, BBC chiefs will have to be prepared to battle it out for the 21-year-old star, as she is also said to be wanted for 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!' and 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

An insider explained: "Amy is hot property and several shows are desperate to secure her because she'll create huge attention for them. 'Strictly' would be a brilliant move for her because it would introduce her to a new audience but she's nervous because she doesn't feel it's her cup of tea.

"Meanwhile, 'I'm A Celebrity...' and 'Big Brother' would give her a real chance to show off her personality. She's really intelligent, natural and funny, which you don't always get to see on 'TOWIE' because the scenes are set up."

Amy has also thrilled 'TOWIE' bosses by signing up to appear in a third series of the reality show later in the year amid rumours she would be launching her own fly-on-the wall programme.

The source added to the News of the World: "Amy has agreed to go back. It's a huge relief to everyone at ITV. But she knows that 'TOWIE' launched her career and she wants to stay loyal to it."
