Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff has become the second person to be voted off Celebrity Big Brother.

The 48-year-old former Baywatch actress said to her housemates as she left the house: "Angels are watching over you guys. I love you."

She walked instead of Darryn Lyons, 46, who received more public telephone votes.

In an unexpected twist at the end of the show last night, Pamela was given the choice to save four of the housemates from eviction tomorrow.

She picked Jedward, Paddy Doherty, Amy Childs and Kerry Katona, leaving Bobby Sabel, Darryn, Lucien Laviscount and Tara Reid to face the public vote.

Asked by host Brian Dowling what it was like to face the crowd, she said: "I enjoyed it so much."

The ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, also a Baywatch star, learned twins Jedward were the only people who didn't vote for her to face eviction, which meant all seven remaining contestants wanted her to be kicked off the show.

The actress - who wanted to be called by the nickname Buttercup - blamed Australian-born Darryn's "back-talking" for all her nominations, but she said: "That's what Darryn was telling people, and they were telling me after the fact.

"I didn't know if it was true or not. But because I was sick, I was laying down when my fevers were high and the doctor came in.

"Darryn was inside the bathroom with the hairdryers and the straighteners and I overheard him.

"I don't hold any grudges."

Dowling then told her about her sleeptalking in the house, and she said: "I've been talking in my sleep ever since I was a little girl.

"I don't know what I said."

She summed up her time on the show by telling the host: "I had a great time."

Bach-Hasselhoff was booted off the show just four days after Sally Bercow, the 41-year-old wife of Conservative John Bercow, got the push over reality TV veteran Katona and the largely unknown model Sabel.

Bookmakers Coral said her eviction cost them a four-figure sum.

She was just 8-11 when the eviction betting opened, but was just 1-10 when it closed.

Spokesman Gary Burton said: "Pam was backed like her eviction was a certainty, the punters wanted her at any price and in the end it has once again cost us money."

The bookies said Kerry Katona remains the 7-4 favourite to win, ahead of Jedward and Paddy at 2-1 and 5-2.

Earlier in the day Jedward created chaos in the house as they ran amok as "punks", angering other contestants.

The pair threw chairs into the pool, flipped mattresses in the bedroom, and tossed soup around the kitchen during their rampage.

The Grimes twins' behaviour was blasted by housemates, with Paddy Doherty ranting in the diary room and Kerry Katona calling them a "pair of numpties".
