Bird's eye view of Earth

It has taken 10 years, 100,000 shots and 3,000 flying hours for French aerial photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand to compile his photographic project Earth from the Air - A Photographic Portrait of Our Planet.

In images which capture the patterns and formations of the natural world, Arthus-Betrand has given us a bird's eye view of Mother Nature's beautiful planet.

In a first for the Natural History Museum , the exhibition, which includes over 150 images - each over two metres across - plus a giant walk on map of the world, will be held in the east garden, outside the museum.

So, take a giant leap and be one of the first to walk around the world in a weekend...
