ITV 2’s Big Reunion seems to have prompted ex pop stars to throw their headsets on, re-learn some old moves and start touring again and now it looks as if S Club 7 are bringing it all back.

The seven piece band - made up of Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, and Jon Lee – fuelled speculation after band members posted a series of suspicious tweets.

On Wednesday Hannah Spearritt tweeted a throwback picture of the band with the caption "See y'all tomorrow S's!" before further teasing fans yesterday.

The sclubber and former Primeval star posted a picture of herself with Tina Barrett and Paul Cattermole tweeting: “Last 3 standing! @realtinab1& @Paulcattermole1#heatwave #goodtimes lol.”

Back for good? Prepare for a 90s nostalgia take over

Fans were beside themselves with one tweeting: “S Club 7 are getting back together!!! Oh my Lord, my life is complete! #childhoodfave” and another posting “If S Club 7 get back together I will weep tears of pure joy!!!

Atomic Kitten, 5ve and Steps are among a handful of pop groups who have decided to regroup, but there really aint no party like an S Club party so it was inevitvable that the pop septuplets would follow suit.

The band whose hits include Never Had A Dream Come True and S Club dominated the pop charts from 1999 to 2003 before they but announced their split live on stage.

A reunion of sorts took place when band members Jo O’Meara, Paul Cattermole and Bradley McIntosh went on a mini tour back in 2008.

According to former member Rachel Stevens the only thing that was stopping them was the difficulty of getting everyone together in the same place, but it looks as though they’ve managed.

So grab your bucket hats and your best S dances moves because it looks as though the rumours really are true this time.
