Brittany Murphy's mother is to write a tell-all book about her daughter.

The Clueless' actress died last December from pneumonia aged 32 and now mother Sharon says she wants to honour Brittany and her husband Simon Monjack – who died five months later also from pneumonia – by writing her memoirs.

Sharon told RadarOnline.com: "This book will be my way of celebrating and honouring her extraordinary life and career. Brittany was a kind, loving person who enjoyed each day; she was my life. I am looking forward to everyone reading the accurate account about my daughter, her life, loves and career."

Sharon is adamant she is not cashing on Brittany and Simon's deaths as she is donating a percentage of the money earned through sales to charity.

She said: "A portion of the proceeds that I receive from the book will be donated to charity."

In May, Simon was laid to rest next to Brittany. He was buried following an emotional orthodox Jewish service at the Chapel of the Hills in Sunland.

Family spokesman Roger Neal said: "It was Simon's wish to be laid to rest next to her."

At the ceremony, Sharon - who lived with her son-in-law - and his mother Linda spoke to the crowd.

Roger said: "Sharon was very strong and spoke about how much she loved Simon, and how now Simon and Brittany are together. She told them, 'I'll miss you my babies.'
