Model Kelly Brook appears with snakeskin painted onto her body in a shot taken by singer Bryan Adams for a new poster campaign.

Animal rights group Peta wants to highlight the cruelty suffered by reptiles that are killed for their skin. Brook, 31, who appears above the slogan "Wild animals belong in the wild, not in your wardrobe", said: "It makes my skin crawl to think about the violent ways snakes, lizards, alligators and other exotic creatures are raised and killed for boots, bags and belts.

Our message is to support the designers who are creative without being destructive."
