Adam Levine pounded with flour bomb as he meets fans at Jimmy Kimmel Live! studios
Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine was pounded with a flour bomb outside Jimmy Kimmel’s Hollywood studio.
The 36-year-old was hit in the head as he took time to meet and greet fans ahead of his band’s performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
It is unclear why Levine was attacked, but TMZ reports that the culprit was “quickly apprehended by security” until police arrived and “arrested him for battery”.
Levine was then ushered inside by a group of security guards - who were also covered in flour - and went ahead with his performance as scheduled.
The singer was the target of another prank last month when a female fan dodged security and jumped him on stage.
Levine was performing at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California when the fan ran onto the stage, flung her arms around his neck and drew blood from his ear.
After she had been removed the frontman said: "That was weird right? She cut my ear with her fingernail."
He continued: "It's just weird to be, like, in the moment, ya know?
"And you're singing, and your eyes are closed, and you have this beautiful moment.
"And then the next thing you know someone's f****** in your face… It's super terrifying."
