Adele looks set to score another number one with her latest album following her headline slot at Glastonbury Festival.

The singer, 27, won over the crowd at Worthy Farm with her expletive ridden set as she made her Pyramid Stage debut on Saturday night.

Her record breaking album, 25, has jumped 13 places to Number 1 on Monday's Official Chart Update.

The Hello singer looks set to dominate this week's chart with her second album, 21, up 58 places at number 9 while her debut, 19, is currently at 13 and is expected to remain in the Top 40.

Adele performed a string of hits at the festival including Rumour Has It, Send My Love and River Lea which she had to restart because she was out of breath.

She also pulled a 10-year-old girl up on stage for a selfie, said the BBC had warned her over her "potty-mouth", and thanked Sir Michael Eavis for inviting her to perform.

"I thought I would be coming on to a sodden hay bale, you've made my life," she told the crowd, before singing Water Under The Bridge.

Friday night headliners Muse have also surged up the charts with their album Drones which is currently occupying number 15.

Foals, The 1975, Tame Impala, and The Last Of The Shadow Puppets have also all seen increased sales figures.

Coldplay, who closed the annual event with an epic set which featured Bee Gees star Barry Gibb, encouraged fans to get Viola Beach "up the charts".

Chris Martin paid tribute to the four piece who were killed in Sweden when a car they were travelling in plunged off of a bridge and into a canal in February.

The frontman allowed the indie band to 'headline' the festival as part of an "alternate future" which saw Coldplay perform the band's track Boys That Sing while video footage of the four piece was shown on giant screens.
