Alesha Dixon adds final toy to giant Disney Christmas tree at St Pancras International

Alesha Dixon kicked off the festive period as she unveiled a giant Christmas tree made up of Disney toys.

Dixon, 37, was on hand to add the last toy to the giant tree at London’s St Pancras International.

Standing at 14 metres high, the tree will be dusted with snowflakes every four minutes to create a festive atmosphere for commuters.

Several characters from Disney’s most popular shows make up the spectacular creation, including a giant Mickey Mouse which sits atop the creation.

Speaking at the grand unveiling, the former Strictly Come Dancing judge said: “I am so excited to add the last toy to the magical Disney Junior Christmas tree. I picked Doc McStuffins, from my daughter’s favourite Disney show and can’t wait to bring her to see the tree and falling snow inside the station.

“What better way to launch the festive season than unveiling this unique and enchanting Disney Christmas tree. It’s such a special time of year and I would encourage families to come down and share in the magic of Christmas at St Pancras!”

Dixon is the latest star to lend her voice to a Disney Juniour show. She will voice Winnie, the antique tiger who suffers from asthma, in Doc McStuffins.

The series follows a six year old girl who communicates and heals stuffed animals and broken toys from her backyard playhouse clinic.
