Ariana Grande has cancelled her New Years Eve performance in Las Vegas due to “unforeseeable health reasons.”

The singer was scheduled to perform at The Chelsea inside the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday.

The hotel has confirmed that she will not perform and that guests will receive a refund via their point of purchase.

Grande has had a busy year. Her song "Thank U, Next" is spending its sixth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and she was recently named woman of the year.

The 25-year-old singer said “Thank U, Next” helped to heal her “broken heart”.

She said: “I love this more than any other song I’ve ever put out.

“It was me and my besties tipsy off champagne and me with a broken heart just letting it out and having fun.”

The singer also recently earned two Grammy nominations.

She is set to tour the UK in late 2019.
