Ariana Grande is reportedly dating comedian Pete Davidson following her split from musician Mac Miller.

According to reports, the pop star and the Saturday Night Live cast member have “just started” seeing each other and it’s currently “very casual.”

Grande is thought to have split from Miller last month after 18 months together due to conflicting work schedules.

Davidson was in a long-term relationship Cazzie David, the daughter of comedian Larry David, but confirmed their split just last week.

Grande and Davidson were reportedly spotted spending time together at the SNL after party on May 12 and both attended the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

According to reports, Davidson was waiting by the side of the stage as Grande performed new single No Tears Left to Cry during the ceremony.

“After Ariana’s performance, they were backstage and he had his arm around her,” a source told People.

“They seemed very lovey-dovey. He was hanging out with her and her friends with his arm around her. She seemed quite smitten.”

Grande recently described Miller “one of my best friends and favourite people on the planet” in the wake of their split.

She wrote on Instagram: “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us.”

Grande sent a message of love and thanks to her fans on Tuesday to mark the one year anniversary of the Manchester Arena terror attack.

The pop star, who had been performing at the arena when suicide bomber Salman Abedi blew himself up on May 22 last year, said she was sending her “light and warmth” to victims of the attack.

In the post, she wrote: “Thinking of you all today and every day. I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day."
