Leaked lyrics for Ariana Grande’s new track Monopoly has prompted fan speculation over the singer’s sexuality.

Though the track, which is thought to be a collaboration between Grande and her friend Victoria Monet, is yet to drop, lyrics site Genius reports that the song’s post-chorus features the line: “I like women and men (yeah).”

The line has already prompted intense discussion amongst the singer’s fans on Twitter, with many speculating that the singer is referencing bisexuality.

“If Ariana is bisexual and this is her way of coming out, then I’m so proud of her,” one supporter wrote. “If it isn’t then thank you for the bisexual anthem ma’am!”

“Wait did Ariana just come out as bi?” another asked.

“Did Ariana really admit to being bi or y’all playing?” a third wrote.

Others, however, pointed out that Genius might have mistakenly attributed the lyric to Grande, and that the line could instead be sung by Monet, who came out as bisexual in November.

“Hold up is Ariana Grande bi or was that the other person’s line?” one Twitter user wrote.

“Genius prolly [sic] messed up and it is Victoria’s part,” another suggested.

“Ariana hasn’t 100% confirmed that she’s bisexual yet so we shouldn’t assume or invalidate her sexuality,” another pointed out.

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Grande for comment.

Grande’s fans previously went into meltdown back in November when Apple Music published incorrect lyrics for her track Thank U, Next, prompting them to believe that the singer had “moved on” with a woman named Aubrey.

“I know they say I move on too fast but this one gon’ last. ‘Cause her name is Aubrey,” the Applice Music lyric sheet read, whereas Grande’s actual lyrics refer to herself, “Ari.”

The star previously mocked the “Aubrey” speculation in the video for Thank U, Next, with a scene which parodied teen comedy Mean Girls.

Monopoly is set to drop later today.
