Ariana Grande has been pictured with ex-boyfriend Big Sean, months after name checking the rapper in her break-up track Thank U, Next.

In photographs obtained by US gossip publication TMZ, the 7 Rings singer joined the 30-year-old in his car outside a recording studio in Los Angeles.

Grande’s dog Toulouse, who has recently made cameos in the star’s two most recent music videos, was also present for the reunion.

The publication reported that Grande was first to arrive at the studio, with the rapper following after, prompting her to “come outside for the reunion.”

They are then thought to have left in his car.

Standard Online has contacted representatives for both stars for comment.

The pair collaborated on Right There, a track on Grande’s debut album, in 2013 and Best Mistake, released the following year.

They are thought to have dated for eight months before splitting in April 2015, shortly after making their public debut at the Grammys.

In a statement released at the time, the couple said that they “both care deeply for each other and remain close friends, while reports suggested that conflicting tour schedules may have played a part in the split.

Grande gave the rapper a shout out in her hit Thank U, Next in November, singing: “Thought I’d end up with Sean, but he wasn’t a match.”

In the accompanying video, which took inspiration from teen movies such as Mean Girls and Legally Blonde, the musician appeared to have only good things to say about her former boyfriend.

In a scene which parodied the infamous Burn Book from Mean Girls, Grande wrote that the rapper was “so cute, so sweet, (could still get it).”

Earlier this year, the 25-year-old told fans that she was not looking to rush into a relationship after ending her engagement to SNL star Pete Davidson.

When one Twitter user asked her who she was currently dating, she replied: “Spoiler for the rest of this year / probably my life: it’s no one.

“Please refer back to this tweet for future questions.”
