DVD/VIDEO: The Banger Sisters 20th Century Fox, 15, £15.99/£9.99

Back when rock'n'roll made the world go round, Susan Sarandon and Goldie Hawn were such dedicated groupies that a legion of sated musicians named them the Banger Sisters.

Times have changed, but Hawn hasn't: now she's heading for Arizona to tap her long-estranged pal for a loan. Sarandon has moved on - posh house, spoiled kids, expensive beige wardrobe - but the film has no truck with such materialism, preferring to worship the glory days of cheap sex with random songsters.

The three leads (including Geoffrey Rush as a twitchy writer) are all good, but the weak script leaves them flailing. With commentary.
