Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter christen son on Isle of Wight
Actor Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter have christened their son on the Isle of Wight.
The private pair – who got married on the island on February 14 – invited a group of close family and friends to a Church in Mottistone for Christopher Carlton’s christening on Sunday.
According to reports, the three-month-old wore a traditional white gown for the occasion.

Cumberbatch and Hunter welcomed their first child together on June 1 and a spokesperson said at the time that the pair were “delighted”.
“Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son,” they said.
“We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”
Cumberbatch last week recorded an introduction for refugee charity single Help Is Coming to raise funds for Save the Children.
In a video filmed in the dressing room backstage at the Barbican, the Hamlet actor said: "As people watching this tragedy unfold from the safety of our homes, with our safe children, we want to say that we see you, we hear you and help is coming."
