Bette Midler recreates Kim Kardashian’s selfie and urges her to donate to charity

Bette Midler has posted her own ‘naked’ selfie in a bid to drum up support for charity.

Clearly hoping for some good to come out of her feud with Kim Kardashian, the acting legend mocked up a racy photo of her own and urged the reality star to donate money to charity.

The 70-year-old posed in a digitally enhanced snap, which showed her holding a cardboard sign addressing the reality star directly.

It read: “Put your selfie to work...for a good cause! Donate, RT, I'll match $$ 2-1!”

The tweet then linked to a fundraising page for her charity Stages for Success, which helps transform school auditoriums.

Midler seemed to suggest that she would double whatever Kardashian and any followers pledged to the cause.

Just before she posted the photo, Midler wrote: ” .@KimKardashian wants me to send her my nudes! I'll send them right over but the lighting's bad right now since she threw all that shade!”

The unlikely pair became embroiled in a Twitter row earlier this week after Midler made a joke about Kardashian’s nude selfie.

The reality star responded by saying: “hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding.

“Hey @BetteMidler I really didn't want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu.”

Midler replied by writing: “I never tried to fake friend you. Looks like anyone can take a selfie but not everyone can take a joke...”
