Members of Boyzone reportedly burst into a bride-to-be’s hotel room the night before she was due to walk down the aisle in a terrible mix-up.

Sarah Martinson told how she had been trying to get some rest the night before her big day, when Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy reportedly entered her room at the Celtic Manor resort in Wales.

The 38-year-old had booked into a suite at the luxury resort which happened to be hosting a celebrity golf tournament at the same time.

To make matters worse, the pair’s assistants supposedly came into the room looking for them an hour later, at around 1.30am.

She told the Sun: “On my wedding day I felt like a zombie as I’d hardly slept. It ruined what was meant to be the most perfect day of my life.

“I told them they needed to leave, before realising it was Shane and Keith from Boyzone. They said they were looking for the mini-bar.”

According to the bride, the hotel had accidentally given the singers her hotel key in a mix-up.

A spokesperson for the band told the Mail: “The Boyz were given keys to the room and had been told it was theirs. Once the hotel’s mistake was realised they left.”

Following the error, the resort has reportedly offered Ms Martinson £1,700 in compensation.

The group are set to release an upcoming album and head out on a UK tour next year following their reunion.

Standard Online has contacted representatives of the group for comment.
