Britney Spears took to Instagram yesterday to post a worrying video of herself after splitting from David Lucado

The Queen of pop tweeted “Ahhhh the single life!” before taking to Instagram to post a video, in which it looks as though she is about to cry.

With her face close to the camera the mum-of-two says: “OK if you ever have a really, really, sh***y day. Find someone with shoes with hearts on them. Made my day!”

She turns the camera to show a friend wearing hearts on her shoes before turning back to her pained face as she says: “made my day.”

Although Britney, who is currently in Las Vegas for her Piece Of Me residency at Planet Hollywood, hasn’t revealed the reason for the split, a representative has confirmed it.

There are reports that the 32-year-old watched a video of her partner of more than a year dancing and cheating on her with another woman.

A source told E! News: “She is heartbroken. She is in Vegas. But she will get through it. She's a strong girl and he was never right for her.”

The split comes only days after she posted an Instagram of her and David before they were set to go on a “date night” and another with him and her sons Sean nine, and Jayden, seven.
