Bros are keen to spice up their reunion by recruiting a world famous girl group.

Twin brothers Matt and Luke Goss – who this week announced their comeback – said they would love to collaborate with the Spice Girls.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain Luke said: “Spice Girls. I think that would be good. They’re iconic and a lovely bunch of girls."

Matt added: “If they don’t all want to reunite, [they can] come and sing with us at the 02. Come and sing one of the songs with us.”

Bros are getting back together 24 years after they split in 1992.

The duo will play The O2 on August 19 next year to mark the anniversary of the date when they played their last ever gig in front of more than 77,000 people at Wembley Stadium in 1989.

The brothers said the support from fans during their decade’s long hiatus has been solid.

“The fans have been so unbelievably loyal,” Luke said. “It hasn’t diminished. Sometimes we have to say to each other ‘this is unbelievable’.

“We wouldn’t have a career without the Brosettes."

The duo formed in school and shot to fame with hits including When Will I Be Famous? and their only No 1 single, I Owe You Nothing.

Founding bassist Craig Logan quit in 1989 but the Goss brothers continued as a duo.

The siblings created a media hype in the run up to their secret comeback announcement, leading some to speculate that it would be ABBA, Wham or Oasis reforming.

Betting was yesterday suspended on an Oasis reunion in 2017 after a flurry of "maximum stake bets" were placed.
