Cardi B left her Twitter followers in stitches after she failed to realise that Donald Glover and Childish Gambino are the same person.

In a now deleted tweet, the pregnant rapper wrote: “'It's amazing how Donald Glover and Childish Gambino look soo much alike.

“I think they secretly the same person. So dope!”

Soon after, she tweeted: “Wait. I’m confuse now?!”

Followers were quick to respond to Cardi B, laughing at her sudden realisation and telling her than they thought she was joking.

"You deleted the last tweet OMFG you really didn’t know. I thought you were joking. That’s so cute," commented one user.

Several joked about “pregnancy brain” being a real thing after she made the unfortunate error.

And many users sympathised with the artist, admitting that they had noticed the similarities but failed to realise they were the same person before.

One wrote: “I didn't know either. I was like "Childish Gambino looks hella familiar." I googled it, turns out he's Donald Glover lol. We all human sis, don't fret.

“I also thought Chris and Liam Hemsworth were the same guy at first, turns out they were two different people.”

Glover’s comedy Atlanta is currently airing on Sunday evenings on BBC Two While his track This Is America was released under his stage name earlier this month.
