Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack will not be returning to the programme for another series.
The 34 year-old presenter took to Twitter to break the news, writing: " Heyyyyyy! After three brilliant years of hosting Xtra Factor it's time to pass the baton. It's been incredible and I'll never forget it."
According to The Sun, TOWIE and I’m a Celebrity star Joey Essex is rumoured to be taking over.
Although the 23-year-old only learned to tell the time last year, ITV executives clearly think he’s got the XFactor when it comes to presenting.
It’s not the first time Joey has worked with ITV2. His show Educating Joey was a success but some are worried that taking on a Saturday night show may be risky.
A source said: "Joey has been a big hit for ITV2 and has a lot of fans out there. The Xtra Factor is all about being big and brash, and having Joey on board would bring a lot of attention.
"But it is an hour-long show that goes live for the performance shows on Saturdays and Sundays. Could he handle that?"
