The actor - who quit the social networking site at the weekend - would send brief messages to his fans while making love to former girlfriend Bree Olson, she has revealed.
Referring to a lyric, "He's posting twitter tweets during sex with me," in her new song 'Hollywood Douchebag', Bree admitted: "Charlie discovered Twitter when we started dating, so we had some funny experiences.
"I thought of him when I wrote that lyric. Yes, he would tweet in bed."
However, Bree - who dated Charlie between January and April 2011 - insists she wasn't offended by the actor's antics.
She told the New York Post: "He was really excited about twitter. I wasn't offended by it at all.
"I thought it was more funny than anything."
The adult movie star insists that not all of the song, for which she has teamed up with Mike Gonsolin, is about her famous ex-lover.
She said: "There's bits of Charlie mixed in, intermingled with other guys I've had experiences with.
"It's just supposed to be a light, funny song about Hollywood in general."
Charlie - who is still on good terms with Bree - joined twitter in March 2011 and entered the Guinness Book of Records for 'The Fastest Time To Reach One Million Followers' after achieving the feat in just 48 hours.
