Cheryl Cole has gone for gold to promote her new single.

Sporting a sparkling leotard for Crazy Stupid Love, the former Girls Aloud star proved she is back in business.

The X Factor judge told told Hello! magazine: "I have the single Crazy Stupid Love, so I have to make the video for that, which involves choreography, casting the dancers, rehearsals, approving the idea, then fittings for costumes and hair and make-up, then the filming.

"The perfume launch in August and the album launch in November. I'm so busy at the moment, I'm just taking things one day at a time."

Bling: Cheryl Cole works a leotard

Cole's fourth album is set to come out in November.

The former Girls Aloud singer was living it up at the Cannes Film Festival for the fifth year in a row last week and she says her priority on the red carpet is avoiding an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction like her pal Eva Longoria's 2013 slip-up.

She advised: "Always wear underwear. Seriously, I would rather have a line than be caught out without anything on; I would be mortified. The whole world is watching and those photographers are just waiting to catch you out."

Rumours were rife Cheryl was in Cannes to meet with film bosses but she claims she is only tentatively considering a movie career and is concentrating on music for now.

She said: "Doing a cameo in the [2012] film 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' has [given me the acting bug]. I loved that. We were on set, everyone was like a family and, you know, I thought, 'I could really do this'. I've appeared in so many videos and that is a form of acting. So yes, I am definitely interested."
