David Beckham: Harper loves playing football
David Beckham is hoping his daughter Harper will follow in his footsteps after admitting her football skills are coming on "pretty well".
The retired footballer is pleased with the way two-year-old Harper is progressing with a football and admits she loves playing the game with her brothers, Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 12 and nine-year-old Cruz.
Speaking at the world premiere for documentary movie The Class of 92 - which David stars in alongside his former Manchester United teammates Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt - he said: "Harper's skills are coming on pretty well. We'll see if she wants to follow in my footsteps or not, she loves playing it with the boys."
David was joined on the red carpet by his wife Victoria and sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, and while Brooklyn has undergone trials at soccer side Queens Park Rangers and his father's old club Manchester United recently, the 38-year-old hunk insists his eldest boy isn't any closer to signing professional terms for a club.
He added: "Brooklyn isn't close to signing anything yet, he's just enjoying himself. He's playing and enjoying it like every kid does so that's great."
Several stars also walked the red carpet at the premiere including One Direction band members, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, who branded David a "legend" and admitted he has been a huge inspiration on his career.
He said: "Absolutely, David is inspiring. He's a legend. This film is amazing because it's the team I grew up watching."
