Rapper Eminem will take to the stage to headline the Reading and Leeds festivals next year - more than a decade after he first topped the bill.

The star, who rose to fame with the release of 1999's The Slim Shady LP, has sold more than 100 million records around the world.

Eminem headlined the 2001 Reading festival and ended his set duetting with Marilyn Manson.

Joining the Detroit-born rapper at the event are Mercury Music Prize winners Alt-J, who will headline on the NME/Radio 1 Stage.
