MORE ON THIS WEEK'S BIGGEST ENTERTAINMENT STORIES:

Kylie Minogue tops most read

Summer may feel like an age away but news that Kylie Minogue will play the British Summer Time Festival at Hyde Park was one of our most read stories on the Showbiz section of standard.co.uk this week.

The pop star will headline a disco-themed bill on June 21, which includes Grace Jones and Chic featuring Nile Rodgers.

Despite her success Kylie admitted that she still gets nervous before a show, comparing it to a boxer or sports person going to do their thing.

She certainly hides her nerves well.

Nicole Scherzinger goes glam

Nicole Scherzinger also made our Top 5 list this week. The former Pussycat Doll, who has been starring in the West End version of Cats, was on the red carpet for the premiere of Martin Luther King biopic Selma.

She joined stars from the film including David Oweloyo for the event at the Curzon Mayfair.

The movie, which was snubbed by the Oscars, is in cinemas from February 6.

Wolf Hall's got us all obsessed

Public-school star: Damian Lewis as Henry VIII in Wolf Hall

We just can't get enough of Wolf Hall.

Nearly 4 million people tuned into the first episode of the Tudor drama with Damian Lewis and Mark Rylance.

And the second installment of the Hilary Mantel adaptation did not disappoint.

So it is not surprising that our guide to the series on standard.co.uk has proved particularly popular.
