Move over Justin Bieber, there’s a new heartthrob in town. The second son of a man regularly hailed the best looking on the planet, Romeo Beckham makes his modelling debut this week in Burberry’s spring/summer campaign, shot by Mario Testino. And it seems star quality runs in the family.

No doubt encouraged by his mother, a long-time lover of luxury fashion and the creative director of her own eponymous label, the charismatic ten year old stars alongside Burberry regulars Edie Campbell and Cara Delevingne and is the youngest addition to the brand's ever expanding cast of models, musicians and actors.

Dressed in a shirt, tie, brogues and signature Burberry the trench, the handsome youngster bears a striking resemblance to his perfectly turned-out father in the campaign which will appear on magazines from early January.

In a behind the scenes shot, seen here exclusively, he can also be seen laughing and joking with Burberry's Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey.

"We had such fun shooting the campaign" says Bailey who chose male models Alex Dunstan, Charlie France and Max Rendell to show Romeo the ropes, "I think that comes through".

The Beckham's decision to allow Romeo to back the quintessentially British brand adds fuel to the rumour that the family are to leave their home in LA for London next year.

While Beckham played his last game for US soccer team LA Galaxy earlier this month, he is yet to sign to any of the European clubs who have expressed interest in adding the Beckham name to their team sheet. Last week, Victoria Beckham was spotted visiting potential schools for her four children around the Knightsbridge area and looking at possible locations for her first flagship store.

Sorting out a Saturday job for Romeo is it would seem, one thing she can tick off the list.
