Ferne McCann has addressed rumours of a potential romance with Love Island’s Jordan Hames after the reality stars were photographed kissing on a night out.

The former TOWIE star, 29, was pictured getting close to the model, 24, at an event last week.

Both were in attendance at the Animal Hero Awards last night but arrived at the event separately.

In an interview with The Sun Online, McCann seemed excited to reunite with her potential love interest.

“So we had a little kiss the other night,” she told the publication. “I met him that night and had a little snog.

“What’s a snog between two reality stars? Why’s it always me that gets snapped doing it?

“There was a part of me that was like, ‘Still got it.’ You don’t want to write yourself off just because you have children. I don’t want to feel mumsy or I’ve lost my own identity. I am single so I feel like I can mingle.”

She added: “I’m going to see him tonight. I’m just going to see how tonight goes but if he wants to set it up…”

McCann was previously in a relationship with Arthur Collins, who was jailed in December 2017 after he was found guilty of carrying out an acid attack in a London nightclub.

The former couple share a one-year-old daughter named Sunday.

Hames embarked on a romance with fellow Love Island contestant Anna Vakili during this year’s series but abruptly called things off one day after asking her to be his girlfriend, having decided to pursue new islander India Reynolds instead.

The former couple left the show shortly after, with Vakili describing Hames’ behaviour as “the worst in Love Island history.”
