Frankie Bridge has revealed that she is training to be an actress in New York.

The Saturdays star, who is taking a break from music to “try new stuff”, told the Standard: “I’m out here to learn and it was a case of putting myself in an uncomfortable position and seeing how it goes.

“The aim wasn’t necessarily ‘I want to be an actress’ but, at the end, maybe.”

Asked what her ideal role would be, the 29-year-old named EastEnders — saying she “already has the voice for it”.

Speaking about the venture, Bridge said: “Well they asked me if I wanted to do it and, to me, now that I’ve got my kids, it seemed like a nice thing for me to be able to do.

“It’s something I can read to them and they’ll actually enjoy. The old Easter Bunny story was quite dated and most kids don’t really know the story.”

She added: “It was the first time I’ve ever done any sort of writing but it was fun being creative in a different way. I really enjoyed it.”

The Tale Of The Great Easter Bunny is available to download now from the chocolate brand's website.
