Jennifer Aniston finally gave fans what they’ve all been waiting for as she hosted an impromptu Friends reunion at the Emmys.

When Emmys host Jimmy Kimmel decided to check in on 51-year-old Aniston at her home, the actor was flanked by her Friends co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox who were joining her for the night.

And it seemed that Aniston had a particularly full house that night, as Jason Bateman also popped in briefly.

Dressed in a pink robe, the star jokingly told a confused looking Kimmel that she, Cox and Kudrow have been “roommates since 1994,” a reference to the wildly successful sitcom.

However, Aniston has previously reassured fans that the show’s one-off return will be more than worth the lengthy wait.

Speaking to Variety, she explained: “It’s going to be super. You know what? This has also given us more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been.

“So I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed. Look, we’re not going anywhere. You’re never going to get rid of Friends, sorry. You’re stuck with us for life guys.”

It was a particularly strange night at the Emmys, with most of the stars appearing by video link to accept awards.

Succession, Watchmen and Schitt’s Creek were the night’s biggest winners, each sweeping the board in their respective categories.
