Amanda Holden has been stepping out in style up and down the country this month for the Britain’s Got Talent auditions.

The Wild at Heart star and mother of three looked effortlessly glamorous with her glowing skin, power brows and voluminous blow-dried hair to rival Kim Kardashian’s at auditions in London last week.

Celebrity make-up artist and hair stylist Christian Vermaak shares the secret to getting the Britain’s Got Talent judge’s look.

Face

To keep your make-up fresh and skin oil-free all day, start with a good primer. Vermaak recommends Murad Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer: “perfect for an all-day dewy glow from under your foundation”.

“To keep the foundation light,” Vermaak says, “I use DiorSkin Airflash Spray foundation  for an all-day flawless airbrushed finish.”

Eyes

Amanda is bang on trend with Cara-inspired power brows, filled in with Guerlain Meteorites Eyebrow Kit. “The four colours in one palette helps make sure you have the perfect colour everytime,” Vermaak says.

For a simple and striking eye perfect for day time, Vermaak recommends: “a slick of felt tip eyeliner. Eyeko do a great liner in Onyx Black - it gives super intense colour that lasts all day.” Finish off with a few coats of black mascara.

Lips

“When Amanda wears a black and white outfit specifically, I think a very soft plum lip colour always makes the outfit feel modern.” Vermaak recommends BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Fly High.

Hair

To complete the look and make sure you’re camera-ready, use rollers for big, bouncy hair. Vermaak starts by protecting Amanda’s hair with Philip Kingsley’s Daily Damage Defence before using Cloud9 large Thermal Rollers.

Vermaak says: “For maximum body, I leave them in for at least half an hour. Once they have set, I give the hair a good brush out and spray it with Fudge Skyscraper for all day hold.”
