Gordon Ramsay has taken Piers Morgan to task over his remarks on veganism in his signature expletive-ridden style.

The Kitchen Nightmares host previously shared a clip of a vegan roast dinner available on the menu at his Bread Street Kitchen restaurant on Twitter, prompting the famously vegan-averse Good Morning Britain presenter to hit out at him for jumping on the plant-based bandwagon.

“Oh FFS Ramsay… not you as well? This looks utterly revolting,” he wrote, adding some vomiting emoji to further emphasise his point.

Though Ramsay didn’t reply on Twitter, Late Late Show host James Corden gave the chef an opportunity to respond to Morgan when he appeared on the chat show last night.

Corden showed him the offending Twitter exchange, before telling Ramsay: “I actually think this looks pretty good, what do you think of this critique?”

“So Piers Morgan is now a food critic?!” he responded, adding: “Go and f*** yourself! Seriously? Really?”

“Veganism is on the rise, we’ve got to adapt and I just have to eat a slice of humble pie,” he continued.

“I for one think it looks beautiful, I really, really do,” Corden replied.

Morgan has previously been vocal in his criticism of vegan diets, and famously berated bakery chain Greggs for launching a vegan sausage roll earlier this year, branding the food outlet “PC-ravaged clowns.”

The presenter later vowed to go vegan if his ITV programme won the Best Daytime TV Show at the National Television Awards, but was eventually spared the ordeal when Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby received the trophy for This Morning.
