Harry Styles decided to celebrate his birthday by posting a Taylor Swift lyric on Twitter, much to the surprise of his fans.

Despite breaking up with the singer over three years ago, the One Direction star teased his followers by referencing his ex on Monday.

Sending his loyal ‘Directoners’ into Twitter meltdown, the British singer posted Swift’s lyric: “I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22.”

Despite only dating for three months back in late 2012, both singers have penned songs about the brief relationship.

Without naming names, Swift has hinted that her most recent track, Out of the Woods, was about her romance with Styles.

Before playing the song at a recent concert, she told the crowd: “I'm going to play you a song that I wrote about a relationship that I was in that the number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety.”
