One Direction fans hoping to steal a kiss from Harry Styles might be in luck.

The singer, 21, was forced to reveal that he once kissed a fan.

Styles made the admission during a revealing game of Never Have I Ever on The Ellen Show.

Alongside his band mates Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan he was given a placard bearing the words ‘I have’ and ‘I have never’.

Host Ellen DeGeneres then asked the boys a series of questions including: “Never have I hooked up with a fan”.

Realising that he was the only one who had, Styles joked: “I think mine’s broken.”

In response to “never have I ever pretended to be someone I’m not”, Horan admitted that he had in fact told people that he is Nick from Back Street Boys.

DeGeneres also accused Styles of lying after he turned his placard to ‘I have never’ when she asked if any of the boys had had a song written about them.

After playing the game they performed their single, Perfect - a song that Styles recently hinted is about his ex Taylor Swift.

When asked by James Corden the lyrics "and if you’re looking for someone to write your break-up songs about, baby I’m perfect" are about the Shake It Off singer, he replied: "I think the thing with songwriting is everyone writes from personal experience. It's not always necessarily what it sounds like it's about.

"Sometimes it is! And it's open to interpretation."
