Pharrell Williams entertained a very Happy crowd last night as he took to the stage at Camden’s Roundhouse for his iTunes Festival residency.

Looking as fashionable as ever, the 41-year-old singer was sporting one of his trademark hats in electric blue, and a pair of his Billionaire Boys Club brand Bee Line x Red Timberland Boots.

He flew through a string of hits including, Come Get it Bae as well as several covers and collaborations by Daft Punk, Nelly and Major Lazer before finished with his hit, Happy.

Pharrell took to Twitter after finishing his set to thank fans for their support. He posted a picture of himself taking a bow alongside the eight female backing dancers and singers who had performed with him throughout the night, with the caption: “Thank you @itunesfestival, we had a blast on your stage #itunesfestival.”

Shortly before the gig Pharrell took over the official iTunes Festival twitter account for a quick Q&A with fans.

One asked whether the singer would ever shake up his gigs by playing an instrument to which he replied: “That requires incredible coordination...eh, no.”

Another asked what his proudest career moment had been so far to which he replied: “Every moment.”

And he has plenty to feel proud about at the moment.

Not only did he play to a sold out Roundhouse last night, but it was announced that his track Happy is the most-downloaded track of all time in the UK, beating Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines and Adele’s Someone Like You.
