‘Irresponsible’ Kim Kardashian slammed for promoting ‘diet' lollipop which acts as appetite-suppressant

Kim Kardashian has been branded "irresponsible" for promoting a lollipop which acts as an appetite-suppresssant.

The mother-of-three was bombarded with negative messages following the “dangerous” promotion of the 'diet' lollipops, with some people claiming it “encouraged starving.”

Kardashian posted an image of herself topless whilst sucking one of the red lollipops on Tuesday.

She captioned the image: “#ad You guys… @flattummyco just dropped a new product. They’re Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they’re literally unreal.

“They’re giving the first 500 people on their website 15% OFF so if you want to get your hands on some… you need to do it quick! #suckit.”

The 37-year-old was criticised for the post which many were concerned would influence “impressionable young women.”

One disappointed fan wrote: “So irresponsible and dangerous. Encouraging people to starve when you have such a huge platform of young, impressionable women. Shame on you.”

Meanwhile another posted: “How are we still promoting things like this in 2018? One of the most powerful women in the industry is advertising “appetite suppressants.” if your body is telling you it’s hungry, please eat. Eating and being hungry is not a bad thing.”

Whilst a third said: “Shame on you @kimkardashian. I hope you value your morals higher than your money one day soon.”

Others added: “This is an abhorrent message to be promoting, disgusting, you should be ashamed.”

“What a terrible thing to promote when so many young girls look up to you. Promote healthy eating. Have a piece of fruit when you have a craving & not this c***!”
