Love Island winner Jack Fincham has shared previously unseen footage of the night before he entered the show’s villa.

The former stationery salesman posted a short clip filmed in a hotel room, showing him as he prepared for his debut on the ITV2 dating show.

The video sees Fincham emerge from the bathroom with body lotion on his back, as the person behind the camera asks: “How you feeling, going in tomorrow?”

“Going in tomorrow, ready to shell it down!” the future reality star responds, before pointing to the product on his back and telling his friend: “That’s got to go innit!”

“A year ago today! Just before going in the villa WTF. Time flies honestly hold tight,” he wrote alongside the video.

Yesterday, Fincham revealed on Twitter that he “can’t wait” for the latest series of the show to start, adding: “Good luck everyone going in that villa you’re gonna have a SICK time.”

Fincham was among the first contestants to arrive in the villa, and immediately coupled up with Dani Dyer.

The pair’s relationship went from strength to strength - aside from a minor blip when Fincham was relocated to Casa Amor, where he came face to face with ex-girlfriend Ellie Jones.

Fincham and Dyer won over the public, too, and eventually returned home with the cash prize.

They later landed their own ITVBe spin-off show, Jack & Dani, and briefly split up in December before quickly reconciling.

The couple then announced in April that they had decided to part ways for good, with the 26-year-old confirming the news to his Instagram followers in an extended statement.

“We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness,” Fincham wrote.

ITV unveiled the new line-up for the latest series of the dating show earlier this week, with Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy and Strictly star AJ Pritchard’s younger brother Curtis among the 12 singletons looking for love.

Love Island returns to ITV2 on Monday, June 3 at 9pm.
